Before I encountered Christ, I felt lost and empty, chasing after temporary things in an attempt to find fulfillment. I searched for peace and purpose in relationships, achievements, and distractions, but nothing seemed to satisfy my deepest longing. I was burdened by doubt and fear, unsure of my worth or direction in life. Then, I encountered the love of Jesus. I began to understand that peace and purpose are found not in what I do, but in who I am in Christ. As I began reading the Bible, one verse stood out to me “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). This invitation from Jesus filled me with hope. I realized that I didn’t have to carry the weight of my struggles alone. Jesus wanted to take my burdens and give me rest. The more I surrendered to Him, the more I felt His presence and peace in my life. My fears began to fade, replaced by His love and grace. I found strength in His promises and comfort in His Word. Though the journey has had its challenges, I now walk with confidence knowing that Jesus is always with me. I am no longer defined by my past or my failures, but by His love and grace. I’m forever grateful for the transformation He’s brought in my life.
