Our goal is to provide resources to you as a family that will help you show and teach your children who Christ is and the love He has for them.
Parent / Child connectionGBCkids and GBCyouth use the Gospel Project for our Sunday morning programs at GBC. We do our best to reflect and teach kids and students about Jesus and His Word, but we believe that the family is, and should remain, the primary resource for kids and students in their walks with the Lord. You can find out in advance what your kids will learn by going to our Upcoming Events section below and clicking on the Sunday School & Nursery event. Scroll down to find our Family Connection, which includes a devotional and questions on the week’s Bible story.
FAMILY RESOURCE LIBRARYLocated in the Family Life Center near the Kids Wing, our Family Resource Library offers families a variety of books for both children and adults. Create an account on your phone to check out (and back in) books that you borrow!
Vacation bible schoolJoin us for FIVE NIGHTS OF FUN

includes music, games, crafts, snacks, skits, videos, and discussions that will get your kids excited about the NATURE OF GOD!
VBS is for preschool kids aged 4-5 (potty-trained, 4 yrs by 09/01/26) and elementary kids entering 1st through exiting 5th grade.

Child DedicationChild Dedications are meant to bring families and children before the church family in order to remind and affirm our commitments to raising up and investing in the next generation. Child Dedications do not contribute to one's salvation, but reinforce the value and priority of the community to the family discipleship process. Our Child Dedication Class will give you more information about the purpose of Child Dedication, details about the Child Dedication service, and some other helpful information for raising your children in a Christ-centered home.
The deadline for signing up for the class for our May, 2026 dedication has passed. Our next Child Dedication will be in October, 2026.

Policy
Parents are asked not to bring a child if he/she:
Has run a fever within the last 24 hours
Has had diarrhea or has vomited in the last 48 hours
Has a green or yellow discharge coming from their nose or eyes
Has an ongoing cough or sore throat
Is known to have any infectious disease such as HFM, croup, etc.
If there is any question as to the health of your child, we ask that parents err on the side of caution in order to protect the health of other children in our ministries.

Safety
Notice
Safety is our first priority. We have several safety measures in place to provide the safest environment possible for your kids:
Each of our volunteers is required to go through an application process that includes a background check.
Every child who comes through our Kids area is checked in through our computer system, and the parents are given a name badge and security tag.
Throughout our services, we have a safety team in place at each of the exits and entrances to the Kids area.
Before kids are allowed to exit, parents are required to check their security tag with one of our safety team members.

Create a Church Center Profile HERE for your family so you can check in your child at any of our three check-in stations when you arrive. Or if you're just visiting, come to any check-in station and ask the staff member or volunteer to check you in as a visitor.

We have three check-in stations, one in the Worship Center in the Nursery hallway, and two in the Family Life Center: one upstairs in the Staff Wing, and the other in the Gym. Using the phone number you used to create your family's Church Center Profile, you can check in any or all of your children at any of our three stations. For safety reasons, please be sure to walk your child(ren) to their classrooms.

GBCkids and GBCyouth uses The Gospel Project curriculum, going through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation through age-appropriate lessons every three years, connecting each story of the Bible to the hope that we have in the redeeming work of Jesus Christ.
