When I was four years old, I asked Jesus to be my Savior. Since that day when I accepted Him into my heart, I have seen Him change my heart to be more like His. This doesn’t mean that I stop sinning. Sometimes, when I play with my little brother, he will do something that upsets me. I often say something mean back before remembering that God wants me to show him kindness and to set a good example for him. Being baptized is this example I want to set for not only my family, but for everyone. That is why I am being baptized today, as an act of obedience to God. “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ, God forgave you.” — Ephesians 4:32
