Our goal is for children to develop positive and fun memories while learning and memorizing scripture.

What & When

A night at AWANA includes game time, handbook/sections time, Bible teaching, and small group activities.

There is a small cost associated with participating in AWANA which is for the handbooks and uniforms. The handbooks are the tool that give children additional Bible lesson content as well as verses to memorize. As an incentive, when children memorize and recite the verses that they have learned, they earn awards which can be attached to their uniform.

Cubbies is the Awana Club for ages 3-5 years old, and celebrates the spiritual potential preschoolers have by cultivating a respect for God, His Son, and His Word. This respect is cultivated as Cubbies begin in their entrance booklet. This booklet has fun activity pages, scripture memory, and a clear gospel presentation. From there, Cubbies jump into their handbooks. These colorful books are the heart of the Cubbies' ministry. The two years of curriculum and books, Appleseed and Honeycomb, containing 32 Bible lessons, fun stories, memory verses, and reviews. Cubbies can earn special awards as they complete portions of their handbooks.

Sparks is the Awana Club for children in Kindergarten-2nd Grade, that ignites the curiosity of kids, and builds a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ. This foundation begins in the entrance book, Flight 3:16, where children are introduced to Sparky, and the gospel is clearly presented. From there, kids are taken on a chronological trip through scripture within Sparks' three-year curriculum. Each handbook features a Bible timeline, exciting Bible biographies, memory verses, and audio downloads. Sparkies can earn special awards as they complete portions of their handbooks.

Truth and Training (T&T) is the Awana Club for children in 3rd-5th Grade, that guides kids to a deeper understanding of God's grace, by exploring Christian beliefs, and their impact on life. It all begins in Start Zone, the entrance booklet for T&T that lays the biblical foundation and clearly presents the gospel. After Start Zone, kids begin working through the T&T handbooks. These contain 32 weeks of content full of fun activities, biblical content, memory verses, and more. T&T kids can earn special awards as they complete portions of their handbooks.

More about AWANA

  • A night at an Awana club balances connection, learning the Gospel, memorizing scripture, and having fun to help kids grow relationally and spiritually.

  • Large Group Time centers around the week’s Bible lesson, including puppet shows, skits, object lessons, worship music, and awards.

  • Small Group Time huddles a handful of kids around consistent leaders to foster relationships as kids ask their questions and discuss and make crafts reflecting the Bible lesson, work through their handbooks, and pray together.

  • We have fun at Awana! Our clubs play games in the gym that promote teamwork, skill building, and plain old having fun together!
