Meet Jody
Jody has attended Groton Bible Chapel since 1999, when she was invited by a neighbor. Entering the doors of this church back then as both a new mom and a brand new follower of Christ, Jody quickly learned the importance of plugging into the GBC community for fellowship, growth, and accountability. The GBC community has become family. Over these past 25 years, Jody has volunteered in many capacities, including Music Ministry, Nursery Care, Kids Ministry, Marriage Enrichment, AWANA, Youth Ministry, ReGeneration, and Women's Ministry. She has a passion for discipleship and connection, and is committed to fostering both in her position as Next Steps Coordinator. Jody has been married to Mike for 30 years, and they have 4 sons, 1 son-in-law, 2 daughters, and 2 grandsons. Family is her favorite hobby, followed closely by enjoying God's creation outdoors in all kinds of ways, especially walking with friends.
