Hunter Talenda

My name is Hunter Talenda, and I am 26 years old. Growing up, I always knew about God, but I didn’t truly understand what it meant to have a personal relationship with Him. I spent many years searching for meaning in the wrong places, and although I had moments of happiness, I always felt something was missing. A year and a half ago, I began to seriously seek God, I realized what my life was missing. Revelation 21:4 says: "He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away". This to me, is a testimony of the strength provided to me by God, through Him all things are possible. Baptism, for me, is an outward expression of the reconstruction I’ve experienced. It represents my decision to follow Jesus with my whole heart. I’m not perfect, but I know that I’m loved by God, and I’m prepared to take this step of faith and start this new chapter of my life, knowing that God will be with me every step of the way.
