Get Connected
Being connected we become friends! Here at GBC, we believe becoming part of a small group allows us to grow in our relationships. We encourage each other, help carry one anothers burdens, and become more Christ-like as we study and learn the Word of God.
Caring Ministries
Caring Ministries exist to further the mission statement of GBC: Reflecting the Lord Jesus to a Needy World. Our caring ministires seek to assist our church familiy and the surrounding community: Stephen Ministry, Military MOMS, Health & Wellness, H.O.P.E. Meals, and marriage enrichment.
Children's Ministries - “Children Reaching Others for Jesus!"

Groton Bible Chapel is a non-denominational church that seeks to reflect the Lord Jesus to a needy world. Our children’s programs (birth through grade 5) parallel that mission statement in that we strive to train our children to know and love Jesus, to love their neighbors and to tell others about the love of Jesus.
(For grades 6-12, see "Youth Ministries".)
Growing Together
Growing Together is a program for ladies of the church to get together for special events to grow in the Lord and in relationship with one another. Events vary from a large group - such as a conference, a tea and drama, a soup and salad evening, or a Christmas program - to smaller luncheons in someones home. Most events take place on a weekday evening, and child care is not provided.
Happy Followers
The Happy Followers provide fellowship, support, inspiration, information and encouragement to the seniors at GBC. We meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month for devotions, activities, food and occasional travel. All seniors and retirees age 55 and over are welcome and encouraged to join us.
Men in Ministry
GBC’s Men in Ministry seeks to equip and mobilize every man to reflect Christ in his home, church and community. Our purpose is also to reach men in our community with a credible offer of the gospel and equip them as spiritual leaders. Over the last few years, we have hosted Christian Growth Classes, men’s retreats & conferences and, recently, a white water rafting trip.
MOMS
MOMS is a ministry for mothers of pre-schoolers through teens. Our mission is to encourage and strengthen mothers to love and serve their families with Jesus Christ as their foundation (Titus 2:3-5). Programs are held the first Friday of each month, October-May, 9:30-11:00 a.m. Childcare is provided for children up through kindergarten; supervision is provided for elementary-aged, home schooled children as well.
The 20's Group
Out of high school? In college? Just starting a career? Under 30? Looking for a place to meet Christian friends? Then, the 20's group is for you.
We meet on a weekly basis (Thursday nights at 7 p.m.) to worship together and study God's word, challenging and encouraging each other to grow in our spiritual walk.
Beyond regular meetings, we gather together for social activities, ranging from game nights to camping.

Small Groups
A Small Group is more than a Bible study. Small Groups meet for accountability and support. Group members talk to each other, lean on each other, encourage each other, pray for each other, hold each other accountable, and worship together. These Groups become small families in Christ. We believe that healthy spiritual lives are grown by building a healthy small group community, and that it is Christ's love that makes it all possible. Small Groups typically meet every other week in homes throughout the area.
Women's Bible Studies
The Wednesday morning Ladies' Bible Study meets September to May at 9:15 am. The purpose of the study is threefold: to come together to praise and worship God, to learn and apply Biblical truths, and to provide prayer support and care for each other.
The Thursday Evening Women's Bible Study meets every Thursday evening at 6:30pm in the Fellowship Lounge from September through May.
Youth Ministries
“Getting Students Excited About Jesus"
Luke 24:32 "Were not our hearts burning within us while He talked with us on the road and opened the scriptures to us?"
GBC Youth Ministries (grades 6-12) are comprised of a variety of programs and opportunities. 'Teens' is the hub of GBC YM - a weekly youth group event from 6-8PM on Wednesday evenings. Other regular programs include; Sunday school 9:15-10:30AM, Going Deeper, Teen Band, and more! Our goal is to move each student one step further in their walk with Jesus and to intorduce Jesus Christ to those who do not know Him. To view/print a GBC YM bubble diagram click here.
