Toll Gate Christian Nursery School exists to provide a safe, loving, nurturing environment for young children to explore and grow individually with a Christian foundation.

We strive to provide quality care and age-appropriate learning experiences to allow each child to develop to his/her potential through a curriculum that promotes and fosters the maturation of the whole child: spiritually, physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually.

The National Academy of Early Childhood Programs advocates for children's activities to be developmentally appropriate. These activities promote success for each child because they are geared to the developmental stage and individual ability and interest:

• Building healthy, positive self concepts
• Providing opportunities to enhance social skills
• Encouraging children to think, reason, question and experiment
• Promotion of language development
• Encouraging and demonstrating sound health, safety and nutritional habits
• Providing opportunities for physical development

We are committed to providing a highly-trained, experienced, nurturing and loving Christian teaching staff.

We are also committed to providing a high-quality environment for young children to explore. During "Free Play" the children can choose from a variety of areas:

• Open carpeted area for Circle Time
• Blocks, Kitchen and Library areas
• Art Room with easel and paints
• Play-Doh Table and Daily Art Project area
• Water Table, Sand Box, Small Manipulative, and Science areas
• Large Motor Skills room

We are part of, and affiliated with, Groton Bible Chapel. Biblical stories, songs and lessons appropriate for the age level are incorporated into a daily lesson.
